Hakone | 2-Night, 2-Round Japan Golf Tour
This 2-night, 2-round itinerary is based in the Hakone area near Tokyo and features golf with strong Mt. Fuji views. It works well as a short stand-alone trip or as an extended layover. Courses include Daihakone Country Club and Taiheiyo Club Gotemba (member introduction required to play). Golf courses were selected with Golf Digest Japan Tour Center. Stay at Hakone Suishoen ryokan in Hakone. Travel is by private car or van.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Tokyo (Optional Arrival Night)
Meet the English-speaking guide at the airport and transfer by private car to the hotel (Haneda about 40-45 minutes, Narita about 70-90 minutes).
Tokyo hotel arranged according to your preference.
(This night is optional and can be added if desired.)
Day 2: Golf at Daihakone – Transfer to Hakone
Private transfer (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes).
18 holes at Daihakone Country Club on the Sengokuhara plain (host site of the CAT Ladies).
After golf, transfer to Hakone.
Stay at Hakone Suishoen – 2 nights.
Day 3: Golf at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba
Private transfer (approximately 50 minutes).
18 holes at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba (private course with strong Mt. Fuji views; long-time host of the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Masters). Member introduction required to play.
Private transfer back to the ryokan. (approximately 50 minutes).
Stay at Hakone Suishoen.
Day 4: Departure
Private transfer back to a Tokyo hotel or directly to Haneda or Narita Airport.
Travel or itinerary extensions (additional nights, golf, or destinations) are available on request.

We arrange golf only as part of a complete Japan tour that includes hotels and ground arrangements. There are no standalone tee times.
Golf Digest Japan Tour Center is our partner for requesting tee times inside that package.
Tee times are typically confirmed 2 to 3 months in advance. Alternate courses may be used for availability, tournaments, or maintenance.

Japanese golf is a full-day club visit: check-in, the round, often a sit-down lunch between nines on Honshu, then checkout. Hokkaido courses more often play through without a mid-round meal.
A sport jacket is usually required entering and leaving the clubhouse. Caddies are typical for visitors. Tipping is not customary; if you give one, it is not included in the tour.
Many clubs have a bath or onsen after play.
