Phoenix Country Club | Miyazaki

Phoenix Country Club opened in 1971 at Phoenix Seagaia Resort on Miyazaki’s Hitotsuba coast. Gokichi Ohashi designed the 27-hole seaside layout through black pine: Sumiyoshi (3,419 yards, par 36), Takachiho (3,540 yards, par 36), and Nichinan (3,318 yards, par 36). Course ratings: Sumiyoshi & Takachiho 73.8, Takachiho & Nichinan 73.1, Nichinan & Sumiyoshi 72.5.

It has hosted the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament since 1974. A free Garden Shuttle from Sheraton Grande Ocean Resort reaches the clubhouse in about 5 minutes. The resort is about 25 minutes from Miyazaki Airport and 20 minutes from central Miyazaki.

We arrange play only as part of a complete Japan golf tour, including hotels and ground arrangements. It pairs with Miyazaki Country Club on a Kyushu itinerary.
