Kawana Hotel opened in 1936 in Ito, Shizuoka, on a clifftop above the Pacific. It is a Prince Hotels golf resort. Guests play the Fuji Course, a C.H. Alison layout from 1936. The older Oshima Course is on the same property. The stay is for the round, ocean views, and a classic resort night.
