The Hiramatsu Kyoto opened in 2020 on Muromachi-dori in central Kyoto. It is a small modern ryokan-style hotel in a renovated Edo-period machiya (a former draper’s townhouse). The on-site restaurant, including sushi, is the usual reason we use it. Kyoto sights are a short taxi ride.
