Number
17 Par 5 538 yards
The Signature Hole of The Woodlands A beautiful
dogleg left, downhill par 5. Hit a long, drawing tee shot from the elevated tee
and leave yourself about 200 yards into this extremely deep, undulating and
well-guarded green. An exciting and challenging second shot. A great birdie
opportunity late in your round.
Number
1 Par 4 422 yards Viewed from the wild flower area adjacent
to the Tournament and Outing Complex, number one offers a pleasing visual
introduction to the course. Though easy on the eye, this hole demands two good
shots right out of the starting gate. The tee shot is downhill, the approach
uphill, and the green two-tiered and challenging.
Number
6 Par 5 570 yards Azalea's blooming along the left side of
this true three shot hole make for a beautiful distraction. This dogleg right
requires two solid woods before a short iron third shot. Helping the hole
play somewhat shorter is a slight downhill fairway for the second and third
shots. The large and subtly sloped green is very receiving to a well played
wedge.
Number 15 Par 4 367 yards A short
dogleg right with a slightly uphill tee shot and a slightly downhill approach
shot. A three wood or long iron off the tee placed right of the fairway bunkers
leaves a short iron into a friendly and large green. If you can place your tee
shots strategically, number 15 is the first of four birdie holes in a
row.
