La Quinta Resort Mountain? Course

The Mountain Course is famous for its unique design and visually stunning setting. This golfer's paradise is literally carved into the Santa Rosa Mountains, demanding accurate, strategic play while providing the ultimate in breathtaking views. Pete Dye's skillful design is ranked among Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the United States.


This summer we will be replacing the turf on the greens of the La Quinta Resort Mountain Course with a hybrid tifdwarf Bermuda. At the same time, a couple of the greens will be redesigned, cart paths will be repaired, and teeing areas will be leveled. The Mountain Course will close on Monday, June 12, 2006. We expect to reopen the refreshed course on Friday, September 8, 2006.

In addition, please note that the Mountain and Dunes summer practice facilities hours of operation beginning July 5 are as follows:

Sunday - Wednesday: 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Thursday - Saturday: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
